Overview

The Tollycraft 53 is a classic example of Ed Monk, Jr.’s thoughtful design and craftsmanship, built by one of the most respected production yacht builders of its time. This pilothouse cruising yacht offers impressive interior volume thanks to her wide 16’11” beam, delivering the feel of a much larger vessel. The main salon is open and inviting, featuring a curved leather sofa to port and lounge chairs to starboard, making it a perfect gathering space for entertaining or relaxing.

Forward, the pilothouse combines functionality with comfort, offering a centerline helm, portside dinette, and a U-shaped galley—complete with an access door to the starboard deck for easy movement around the vessel. Below, the full-beam primary suite is located amidships and includes a walk-around queen berth and ample storage. The accommodation continues with a guest stateroom to port, fitted with upper and lower bunks, and a forward VIP cabin with a queen berth. These guest areas share a well-equipped head. The flybridge is exceptionally spacious, accessible via a cockpit ladder or a stairwell from the side deck, and offers a commanding view for navigation or entertaining guests. Currently a liveaboard vessel, she has been home to her owners for the past five years as they cruised extensively along the U.S. East Coast from Florida to the Northeast.
