DESCRIPTION

The Norseman 447 is solid and reliable bluewater cruiser that has provided its current owners years of safe passagemaking and comfortable evenings of relaxation at anchor. The center cockpit offers great visibility and ease of handling with its furling mainsail and genoa along with its control lines leading to the cockpit. The bimini and dodger offer great protection from the elements. A large-screen chart plotter and sailing instruments allow for convenient navigation. Down below is a cozy main salon with a dining table and seating area, along with a spacious galley to cook meals. The nav station provides ample space for chart work and communications with the breaker panel within easy reach. The aft cabin comfortably sleeps two in a double bed; deck hatches and transom windows give great natural lighting. Connected to this cabin is an ensuite head and shower. A second cabin forward gives a guest or two adequate sleeping quarters and plenty of storage space. This Norseman 447 is ready for your adventures to begin.   

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

SEA EAGLE is a Robert Perry design Norseman 447. The hull is a monolithic construction made of fiberglass with an Airex foam core. The deck also monolithic fiberglass laid up with a balsa core. The deck is bonded and fastened to the hull and includes a through bolted toe rail. The teak decks are glued and fastened to the outer layer of fiberglass. The interior bulkheads are constructed out of marine plywood laminated into place for structural integrity.
