Phishing
Identity theft is a problem and it has become increasingly common for unauthorised individuals to send email messages to consumers purporting to represent a legitimate company or bank or similar, requesting that the consumer provide personal and often sensitive, information. At times the domain name of the email address from which the email appears to have been sent and the domain name of the website requesting this information, appears to be the domain name of a legitimate and trusted company, bank or similar. In reality such sensitive information is received by an unauthorised individual to be used for purposes of identity theft. This illegal activity is known as phishing.
If you receive an email or other correspondence requesting that you provide any sensitive information (including your credit card information and or passwords) via email or to a website that does not seem to be associated with our website, or to one that seems suspicious to you, do not provide such information and please report such requests to our administration department via email to info@tagyachting.com.

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. We will store all the personal information you provide on secure (password and firewall) servers. All electronic transactions you make to or receive from us will be encrypted using SSL technology. Data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure and we cannot protected guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
Your rights
You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you. Provision of such information will be subject to the supply of appropriate evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will usually accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).
We may withhold such personal information to the extent permitted by law.
You may instruct us not to process your personal information for marketing purposes by email at any time. In practice, you will usually either expressly agree in advance to our use of your personal information for marketing purposes, or we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the use of your personal information for marketing purposes.
